Irma Lucille Wolfe Moser, age 94, of Uniontown, PA passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Marquis Gardens Place. She was born in Grindstone, PA on August 9, 1922 a daughter of the late Hughie Wolfe and Elizabeth Lynn Wolfe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Reid Moser; sisters Winifred Sipe and Emily Howarth and nephew, Mark Howarth.
Irma was a graduate of Redstone High School with the class of 1940. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, treasurer of Asbury Fellowship Class and Uniontown Chapter #263 Order of Eastern Star. Irma worked as a sales clerk for Union Supply Store and Kaufman’s Department Store. She also worked for Fayette Gas and Oil.
Left to cherish Irma’s memory are her nephews, Ronald Howarth and wife Pam of Uniontown, PA and their children Sarah and Blair and Brian Howarth and wife Tina of Bay Village, Ohio and their son Daniel and wife Emily of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother-in-law, Charles (Chuck) Howarth and wife Marsha of Pittsburgh, PA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 1 until 4 pm and 6 until 8 pm. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 10 until 11 am followed by a service celebrating Irma’s life at 11:00 am with Pastor Don Kephart officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
