Nina Fullmer
Passed: Wednesday March 22, 2017

A service of Witness to the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ and of Thanksgiving and Celebration for the life and victory over death of Nina Jacqueline Sann Fullmer, a resident of Uniontown, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 34 Clark St., Uniontown, PA. A private interment of ashes will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA on Friday, May 12. The family looks forward to greeting friends during a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Wesley Room at the conclusion of the service. Nina died on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 under Hospice care at LaFayette Manor Nursing Facility in Uniontown. Born August 9, 1928 in Somerset, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Desiree Cedala Pullin Sann and Ferdinand Sann, Jr. Married on July 29, 1950 to her childhood sweetheart, Ralph L. Fullmer, they were blessed with 58 years of marriage until Ralph’s death on December 12, 2008. Nina received her teaching degree in Home Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania; she was a skilled seamstress and tailor who served as President of the Uniontown Home Economics Club. A dedicated member of Calvary United Methodist Church and a woman of great faith, Nina provided inspiration and leadership to women of all ages through the United Methodist Women at the local church level as well as district and conference levels. Nina was a loving homemaker and an avid gardener, and served as President of the Uniontown Flower Club. She and Ralph enjoyed many years of travel throughout the world even as they cherished their time together at home. Nina is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her older brother, Russell L. Sann of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Nina is survived by her younger sister Colleen Reeves (Davidsville, PA), son David Fullmer (Uniontown, PA), daughter Karen Todd (husband Jim, East Stroudsburg, PA), daughter Leslie Aleixo (husband Mario, Alexandria, VA) and son Tim Fullmer (wife Janice, Woolwich Township, NJ). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Noah Ludy, Lauren and Kristin Todd, Ben and Margarita Aleixo, Ryan and Emily Fullmer, as well as nieces and nephews.
