Louise G. Petrone Tate
Passed: Thursday February 1, 2018

Louise G. Petrone Tate, age 85, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Charlotte, NC and Uniontown, PA, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Hunters Creek Rehab Center. She was born November 29, 1932 in Uniontown, PA daughter of the late Felice Petrone and Lillian Stasia Petrone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Tate, Jr., a sister, Mary Cooley and friend, George Troutman. Louise graduated from Uniontown High School. She was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. She worked for Simpson Towel and for Ukrop’s Grocery in Richmond, VA. Left to cherish Louise’s memory are her daughters, Rita Tate of Orlando, FL and Patricia Victor and fiancée Bob Meyers of Uniontown, PA; two grandchildren, David Critchfield and wife Cindy of Lemont Furnace and Denise Garner and husband Greg of Mount Pleasant, PA; three great grandchildren; brother, Paul Petrone of Uniontown, PA and sisters, Donna Mortichesky and husband Barry of Smock, PA, Felica Harto and friend Frank Bartsch of Wheeling, WV, Rita Graziano and friend David Takac of Dunbar, PA and Paulimina “Jeep” Rawlings of Uniontown, PA; two sisters-in-law, Mary Hill of Bridgeport, CN, Marlene Montani, Springfield, IL and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. where family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 8 until 9 a.m. followed by Prayers of Transfer at 9:15 am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese de Lisieux. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. A Parish Wake service will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 followed by Rosary by the Saint Therese Altar Guild.
