Harry E. Albert, III
Passed: Wednesday July 18, 2018

Harry E. Albert, III, age 71, of Uniontown passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in his home. He was born February 7, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA son of Harry E. Albert, Jr. and Janet Ritchie Albert. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann Albert. Harry was a graduate of Phoenix High School; received his bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from University of Washington, received his first master’s degree in Physiological Psychology from University of Pittsburgh and his second in Education from California University of PA. He was a civilian contractor for the Navy training dolphins. Harry worked for PENNDOT in Public Relations then for Penn State as Director of Development followed by being elected as a Fayette County Commissioner and retired from Turkeyfoot High School as an educator. Harry was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church and served as an elder and a church representative at the Presbytery. He enjoyed being a Boy Scout leader as an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow recipient. Harry was an avid photographer and a loving father and grandfather. Left to cherish Harry’s memory are his children, Brady P. Albert and fiancée Alicia Soto of Brownsville and Erin Green and husband Tristan of Uniontown; two grandchildren, Ambrose Myers-Green and Tristan Green; a brother, Ritchie Albert, Ventura, CA and his companion, Barbara Hall of Brownsville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4:30 until 5:30 pm in TRINITY UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH followed by a service celebrating Harry’s life at 5:30 pm with Rev. James Greer officiating.
