Danette D. Angelo Gray

Danette D. Angelo Gray, age 53, of Perryopolis, PA, passed away, October 4, 2025 in Uniontown Hospital.  She was born August 1, 1972 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Russell Angelo, Jr and Delores Engle Angelo. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Angelo and fur baby, Calvin.

 

Danette was employed by The Chimney Sweep Company as an office manager for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.

 

 

Left to cherish Danette’s memory are her fiancée of fifteen years, James Vicent Galla, III; loving daughters, Brittany Gray and fiancée Jospeh Skundrich of Cranberry Township, PA and Haley Gray and fiancée Daniel Jones of Masontown; grandchildren whom she adored, Alexandria Cullen, Reid Jones, Greyson Jones, Joey Skundrich and McKenna Skundrich; dedicated brothers, Russell Angelo, and wife Juanita of Lemont Furnace, M. Wayne Angelo and wife Margaret Ann of Uniontown and Clyde Angelo and wife Jennifer of McClellandtown; special sisters, Diana Harned and husband Doug of Smithfield and Danita Robinson and husband Maurice of McClellandtown; and fur baby, Honeybee Galla.

 

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m.  Viewing will continue on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 10 until 11 am in the funeral home followed by a service celebrating Danette’s life at 11 am with Dr. Mac Reed officiating.  Interment will be private.

Sorry for your loss. she and I were pretty close friends in middle school. We were library aids together and our librarian chose us to be models in her fashion show at the school as she owned a bridal shop and Danette was always made up so beautifully! she was one of my best middle school friends. Never once did we have a disagreement. I will always remember her!

We wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Danette. We met her many years ago at the Uniontown Eat n Park. She was such a sweet person and very personable. We were extremely sad to hear of her passing. Thoughts and prayers are sent to her family,
