Jacqueline H. “Jackie” Acton Duritsky, age 89, of Uniontown, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born December 23, 1934 in Luzerne Township daughter of the late Robert Acton and Mildred Gibson Acton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Duritsky; son, David Acton and sisters, Carol Fuller and Bertha Seehoffer.
Jackie formerly worked as the office manager of an apartment complex while living in Ohio. She enjoyed reading and shopping and she loved animals.
Left to cherish Jackie’s memory are her brother, Robert Acton (Bobbi) of New Hampshire; sisters, Shirley Riley of Uniontown and Sara Abraham of Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where friends will be received on Thursday, May 2nd from 3 until 5 p.m. followed by a memorial service celebrating Jackie’s life at 5:00 PM with Pastor Travis Edgar officiating. Interment will be private.
