Mary A. Bowlen Fordyce, age 84, of Uniontown, PA, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Uniontown Health and Rehab Center. She was born August 22, 1939 in Uniontown, PA daughter of the late Charles Bowlen and Violet McKenzie Berdar. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Earl, Roy, Charles and Ronald Bowlen.
Mary enjoyed cooking, picnicking and singing. Her whole life revolved her family.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory are sons, Philip Fordyce of Smithfield, Gerald Fordyce of Smithfield, Rick Fordyce of Hopwood, Jeffrey Fordyce of Uniontown, Howard Fordyce of Hopwood and Vincent Fordyce of Uniontown; daughter, Suzanne Angelo of Smithfield, Janet Moats of Fredericktown and Joyce Angelo of Uniontown; a brother, Gary Bowlen of Evans Manor; sisters, Linda Bowlen of Hopwood and Norma Donaldson of Fairchance; twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10 until 11 AM followed by a service celebrating Mary’s life at 11 AM with Dr. Mac Reed officiating. Interment will be private.
