Ross J. Williams, Jr.

Ross J. Williams, Jr., age 91, of Dawson, PA, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Forbes Regional Hospital.  He was born October 18, 1933 in Latrobe, PA son of the late Ross J. Williams, Sr. and Wyanona Downey Williams.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Linda Knopsnider.

 

Ross was a 1951 graduate of North Union High School.  He was a member of Bryan Church.  Ross retired as a Sr. Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force.

 

Left to cherish Ross’ memory are his wife, Nancy Johnson Williams of Dawson; sons, Ross Williams (JoAnn) of Lemont Furnace, Ted Williams of Valdosta, GA, and Todd Williams of Dawson, PA  ; daughters Janet Johnson of Uniontown and Judy Gaborko of Dawson; brothers Frank Williams (Judy) of Morgantown WV and Tom Williams (Loretta) of Dawon; sisters, Beverly Kozell of Pittsburgh, Marti Higbee of Dawson, Louise Bigley of Ashville, NC and Lydia Burns (Joe) of Rhode Island; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA.  In accordance with the family’s wishes there will be no public viewing.
